With our brand new state of the art kitchen at Mission Control near Devizes in Wiltshire we are delighted to offer cookery classes. The specially designed workshops incorporate preparation of ingredients and use of utensils as well as making and cooking a variety of different foods.

Each workshop will look at trying out new recipes whilst developing kitchen upkeep and cookery skills.

Agriculture, Motor mechanics and animal management

We are very excited to have secured a partnership with a local community farm that provides a fun and supportive learning environment. Workshops on the farm will include the feeding and management of the livestock and animals they have living on site, gardening skills as well as maintaining the allotment area and motor mechanics.

The farm has agricultural vehicles that are in need of mechanical development and members will have the opportunity to work on them with the aim of taking them to live shows when complete.

Launchpad are pleased to offer team and individual sports sessions. Workshops encourage young people to explore new activities and sports while learning essential lifestyle and wellbeing skills.

A range of sports are available to suit each member's needs.

Co-pilot Support

Co-pilot support we believe is key in helping our members develop life skills in the real world. Co-pilots are our hand selected staff who are available to support members in their development and throughout their day with Launchpad. This can include assisting travel to and from workshops and developing independent travel skills. Also available is maintained support throughout the workshops and activities; helping as much or as little as needed. The level of support for each member will be outlined in the members personal development plan and is designed to help the member gain independence and life skills; reaching their full potential.

Our Co-pilots can be on hand for first contact support between parents and Mission Control. This then enables our Co-pilots to monitor the member's progress and are responsible for ensuring that our members are not only developing but also having fun!
